Created by sisters Hannah and Lydia (you may recognise Lydia as a runner-up on Channel 4’s Game of Wool) Bukom was developed in collaboration with a Yorkshire mill. Their custom blend brings together the gentle sheen and drape of Bluefaced Leicester with the springiness of Corriedale, making a soft yet durable yarn for everyday knits.
An appealing choice for colourwork, cables and textured stitches, Bukom DK works beautifully in sweaters, cardigans, hats and shawls. Its palette of 11 shades invites you to play with colour, whether you choose a single favourite or combine several for a colourwork project.
Wet blocking your finished knit helps the yarn soften and bloom, bringing out the character of the fabric and allowing your stitches to settle.
