A warm welcome to Bukom DK. Working with a mill in Yorkshire, Hannah and Lydia (the sisters behind Weku Yarn) have developed a custom blend of Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) and Corriedale, to produce a soft yet durable DK weight yarn.
With this wonderful blend of fibres, Bukom DK is perfect for colourwork, cables and texture – from sweaters and cardigans to hats and shawls. The BFL adds a lovely sheen and drape, whilst the Corriedale adds bounce.
Once you finish your project, make sure to wet block it, as this will soften and make it bloom.
There are 11 colours in the collection, all dyed to ensure consistency across your projects.
