Bought these cable end stoppers to hold the first sock or mitten project on hold before or after colour work whilst I knitted up the second sock/mitten with the same interchangeable needles. Delighted to find the "mini" sizes in stock.

ChiaoGoo are my absolute favourite needles. It took me quite a long time to realise that you can swap between components from the metal and bamboo sets. The tips and cables are all interchangeable.
I use the steel tips for precision knitting, particularly speed and colour work. However, they can be a little hard on the fingers. These bamboo tips are really useful for knitting quickly through the body sections of sweaters, et cetera.
I also find them good for yarn that could easily be split by a sharp steel tip. The relative bluntness of these is actually helpful there.

This wool is impressive - lovely to use (the wool does not ‘split’).
I find knitting row after row in the same colour tedious - the change of colours makes knitting with this wool more interesting.
