Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be delighted with your purchase from The Little Knitting Company. If something isn’t right, this policy explains how to return items and request a refund or exchange.
1. Your Right to Cancel
- UK Customers: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (by email) within the 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days to return the items.
- EU & EEA Customers: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. You can submit your cancellation instantly by logging into your customer account and using our self-serve returns portal. Alternatively, you can click the "Withdraw from Contract Here" link in our website footer to submit a quick guest form, or notify us by email. You then have a further 14 days to return the items at your own expense.
2. Conditions for Returns
Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging and condition.
We cannot accept returns of:
- Rewound skeins of yarn.
- Custom, special order, or personalised items.
Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and details.
We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including return postage costs.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned items.
Refunds are made to the original payment method only.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except where goods are faulty.
5. International Returns
International customers (outside the UK and EU/EEA) are responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, or import fees on returned items.
We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

We’ll provide return instructions and confirm the return address. Please do not send items back without contacting us or using our online return tools first.
