Roselyn Top 2604-08 | Printed Knitting Pattern
The Roselyn Top is a feminine summer top knitted from the top down using two strands of Sandnes Garn Tynn Line held together. Worked in stocking stitch with a gently flared A-line shape, it is finished with delicate crocheted scallop edging around the neckline, armholes and hem.
The top begins with the left and right sides of the back worked separately, with increases shaping the neckline before the two sections are joined and worked to the bottom of the armholes. The front is constructed in the same way, with a deeper neckline. Front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round, with increases creating the A-line silhouette.
A crocheted scallop edging finishes the neckline, armholes and lower edge. You can work a single round of scallops at the hem for a subtle finish, or add five rounds of scallop edging at the lower section for a more decorative effect.
The model is 185 cm tall and wears a size M.
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL
Finished bust circumference: 80 (86) 91 (99) 105 (116) 122 cm [31½ (33¾) 35¾ (39) 41¼ (45¾) 48 in]

Yarn requirements
The Roselyn Top is knitted throughout with two strands of Tynn Line held together. The sample uses one strand of each of the following colours:

2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 balls
Sandnes Garn Tynn Line – Morning Mist 1015:
2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 balls
If you prefer a solid-colour top, the two strands can be worked in the same colour; simply allow for the combined quantity of yarn required.

The yarn quantities are based on the finished measurements given. Additional yarn may be required if you choose to make the top longer or alter the finishing.
