Mindy Sweater Chunky Edition 2507-05 | Printed Knitting Pattern

The Mindy Sweater Chunky Edition is worked from the top down, holding one strand of Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt together with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair throughout. The combination creates a warm, soft fabric with the structure of Peer Gynt and the light, fluffy halo of mohair.

The back is worked first, back and forth, using short rows and increases to shape the sloping shoulders, and is continued to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up at each shoulder for the fronts, which are worked separately with increases to shape the neckline. The two fronts are joined and worked back and forth to the underarms.

The front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round, finishing with ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in stocking stitch in the round with decreases along the underarm and finished with ribbed cuffs. Finally, the neckband is worked.
