Lyra Sweater 2604-05 | Printed Knitting Pattern

The Lyra Sweater is a fitted raglan sweater knitted in Sandnes Garn Line, with an elegant shaped neckline and statement trumpet sleeves. The printed pattern includes instructions for two different constructions, allowing you to knit the sweater either from the top down or from the bottom up.

For the top-down version, the sweater begins at the neckline, with short rows used to create a deeper front neck while the raglan is shaped with increases. The body and sleeves are then divided and completed separately, with increases towards the cuffs creating the distinctive trumpet sleeves.

For the bottom-up version, the body is worked in the round from the hem to the underarms. The trumpet sleeves begin at the cuff, with decreases shaping the flare before the sleeves are joined to the body. The yoke is then completed with raglan decreases and short-row shaping at the neckline.

Lyra is designed for a close, fitted silhouette, with approximately 5–6 cm of negative ease.

The model is 185 cm tall and wears a size M.
