Ivy Tee 2502-09 | Printed Knitting Pattern

The Ivy Tee is worked from the top down, holding one strand of Sandnes Garn Sunday together with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair throughout.

The back is worked first, back and forth, using short rows to shape the deeper back neckline and sloping shoulders. Stitches are then picked up at each shoulder for the left and right fronts, which are worked separately with short-row shaping at the shoulders and stitches cast on to form the neckline. The two front sections are then joined.

Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeve caps, which are shaped with short rows. The work is then joined in the round and raglan increases are continued. Once all increases are complete, the body and sleeves are divided and finished separately. Finally, the neckband is worked, folded double and worked to the inside for a neat finish.
