Cleo Sweater & Skirt 2504-02 | Printed Knitting Pattern
The Cleo Sweater & Cleo Skirt pattern includes instructions for both pieces, worked in Sandnes Garn Line with a coordinating stripe pattern. Knit either garment separately or make both to create the complete Cleo set.
The Cleo Sweater is worked from the top down. The back is worked first, back and forth, using short rows to shape the sloping shoulders, and is continued to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up at each shoulder for the fronts, which are worked back and forth with short-row shaping and increases to form the neckline. The fronts are joined and worked to the underarms before being joined with the back.
The body is worked in the round and finished with a folded edge. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked in the round and also finished with folded edges. Finally, the neckband is worked in ribbing.
The Cleo Skirt is worked from the waist down. It begins with a ribbed, double waistband designed to hold elastic. The skirt is then worked in stocking stitch in the round, with increases creating the gently flared shape, and finished with a folded hem.
