The Beanie Baby Hat is a classic ribbed baby and toddler hat worked in Sandnes Garn Double Sunday, with a deep folded brim to keep little ears warm.

The hat is worked from the bottom up, beginning with an Italian cast-on to create a neat and particularly elastic edge. It is then worked in rib, with a folded brim for extra warmth and a comfortable fit. The work is turned before decreases shape the crown.

The combination of the Italian cast-on and ribbed construction gives the hat plenty of stretch, helping it fit comfortably and securely around the head.

The hat can be knitted in Double Sunday or with two strands of Sunday held together.
