The Astrid Women's Sweater is a colourwork sweater worked with one strand of Sandnes Garn Sunday held together with one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair. The combination creates a soft, lightweight fabric with a beautiful fluffy halo. 

The pattern gives you the choice of working the sweater from the top down or from the bottom up, making it an especially versatile design. The traditional-inspired colourwork uses three colours, with plenty of scope to create your own colour combination.

Yarn alternatives: Sandnes Garn suggests Alpakka Silke or Tynn Line as alternatives to Sunday, and Alpakka Følgetråd as an alternative to Tynn Silk Mohair.

Suggested knitting needles: 32in 3mm and 3.5mm for body, 16in 3mm and 3.5mm for sleeves, 16in 2.5mm for neckband.
