Terms & Conditions
We’re celebrating our brand-new logo and website with a special two-part competition and we’d love you to take part.
About the Competition
We’ve given The Little Knitting Company a fresh new look and our iconic sheep’s head logo deserves a name to match.
Join our worldwide community in The Great Sheep Name-Off and help us find the perfect name for the face of our brand.
The competition will take place in two stages:
- Stage One – Suggest a Name
Submit your name idea for our sheep logo. - Stage Two – Vote for Your Favourite
Once entries close, we’ll shortlist our favourites and open a public vote to choose the winner.
How to Enter
You can enter in one of the following ways:
- Comment your name idea on our official competition posts on Instagram or Facebook, or
- Submit your idea using the Contact Us form on our website.
Only one name suggestion per person, please. If you enter via both methods, we’ll count your first submission.
Who Can Enter
This competition is open worldwide to participants aged 18 or over.
No purchase is necessary.
Employees of The Little Knitting Company and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Key Dates
Stage One
Name Entry Opens: Wednesday 5th November 2025
Name Entry Closes: Sunday 16th November 2025
Stage Two
Name Voting Opens: Monday 17th November 2025
Name Voting Closes: Sunday 23rd November 2025
Winner Announced: Monday 24th November on our website, Instagram and Facebook.
Entries or votes received after the closing dates will not be considered.
Prizes
Name Winner:
The person who suggests the winning name will receive a £250 ChiaoGoo bundle of their choice, supplied by The Little Knitting Company. If more than one person submits the same winning name, all those entrants will be entered into a random draw to determine who receives the “Name Winner” prize.
Lucky Voter Prize:
Everyone who votes for the winning name will be entered into a lucky dip draw and one voter will win a Little Knitting Company £25 Gift Voucher.
No cash alternatives will be offered. Prizes are non-transferable.
Choosing the Winner
After the entry stage closes, our team will select a shortlist of their favourite names.
Those names will then be shared publicly for voting.
The name receiving the most votes will be declared the winner.
If two names receive an equal number of votes, The Little Knitting Company reserves the right to make the final decision.
Announcing the Results
Winners will be contacted via direct message or email within seven days of the announcement and must respond within seven days to claim their prize.
If we can’t contact a winner within that time, another winner may be selected.
Data & Privacy
We will only use your personal information to administer this competition, contact you if you win, and (for voting) to prevent duplicate entries.

Publicity
By entering, you agree that we may share your submitted name idea and your first name (e.g. “Jane’s winning name was...”) on our website and social channels.
