Despatch Information
We always make an effort to despatch your order as soon as it is received, usually the same day. However, we are a small family business, don't have a staff of thousands and sometimes things just happen. When we have to make changes to our delivery promise, we remove options such as Special Delivery, add messages to the three pages at checkout and to the email confirmation. It's always a good idea to check this page for any updates. 28-Oct-23.

Orders taken after 10am on Thursday 17th October will not be despatched until Monday 21st October onwards. Thank you for your understanding and support.
UK Bank Holidays 2024-25
We will not be despatching on the following dates:
Sunday 22nd, Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th December 2024. Wednesday 1st January 2025.

There are no business collections on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Standard Delivery Service
We use Royal Mail and despatch UK and worldwide orders six days a week. We do not despatch on Sundays. There may be a slight delay in despatch during busy times but on the whole you should expect to receive your order within a few days. We aim to despatch your order the same day if received by midday. There is no business post collection on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.
We also offer Royal Mail Tracked 48® and Tracked 24® services. Since 7th August 2023 there is no Next Day service to Jersey postcodes JE1-4.
A despatch confirmation email with tracking data is sent as standard, and orders should be received within 1-3 working days from the date of that message. If you do not receive a confirmation email for either your order or despatch, please check your spam or junk mailbox. You must advise us within 30 days of non-receipt of your order.

Free UK Delivery
Orders over £75 qualify for free UK Tracked postage.
Delivery on a specific date cannot be guaranteed unless you select and pay for "Special Delivery" and use the comments box to indicate your delivery instructions.
Special Delivery
We offer the Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day service and orders need to be placed by mid-day to ensure despatch that same day. We also offer Special Delivery for Saturday and Sunday. Orders placed on a Saturday for Sunday delivery have to be placed by 9am. You can use the comments box to indicate your preferred delivery day when you place your order. There is no business post collection on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Since 7th August 2023 there is no Next Day service to Jersey postcodes JE1-4.
Delivery to EU Countries
The total price of products displayed on our website includes 20% VAT, the price you pay will be adjusted depending on your location and your country's tax regulations at checkout.
The Little Knitting Co is signed up for IOSS, collecting and remitting import VAT on your behalf. VAT on orders under €150 will be collected and paid to the relevant authorities by The Little Knitting Co. It is important to note that this does not apply to orders over €150 and that those parcels from the UK may still attract customs and handling charges, based upon the regulations of your own country's authorities.
Worldwide Delivery
Deliveries to Europe and the rest of the world are sent using Royal Mail's Tracked services. You will be able to track your parcel the Royal Mail Track and Trace service.
The customer is responsible for any taxes/duties/handling charges that may be charged in the destination country.
Delivery Address(es)
You can have up to five different delivery addresses in your account options (ideal for taking receipt of your order at work or sending a gift). Please be sure that you provide the correct delivery address - sometimes PayPal has a different address logged and you may need to add something in the "comments" box when completing your order with us.
Postage and Packaging Charges
We use Royal Mail for the majority of your orders and UPS or DHL for large, heavy items. You can see an estimate of the postage and packaging charge from your shopping basket by clicking on the "Estimate Shipping" button.
Packaging Materials
We use recyclable postal bags, padded envelopes, paper based wraps for protection and void filling, a Kraft paper eco-friendly, fully recyclable alternative to bubble wrap, original and re-purposed cardboard boxes and Kraft tape.
Returns and Exchanges
If you would like to return something you have ordered from The Little Knitting Co, please contact us as soon as possible, within 30 days of your order being delivered.
To enable us to process your return, please include details of your original purchase (order number, your name and contact details). Delays occur when we receive unaccompanied items that have to languish in a corner until more information is provided!

It would be helpful for us to know why you are returning the item(s), for example: exchange, change of mind, not liked or wrong size. Items should be in ALL original retail packaging and as received (do not fold or crease the product packaging). If your goods were sent with Free Delivery we will reduce your refund by our cost of delivery incurred. Exchanges will be subject to a P&P fee, for small items it's often easier if you include a SAE. For your own peace of mind you should obtain a proof of posting or use a tracked service, particularly for items over £50.
Refunds
Refunds will be made against original source of payment. Please note that refunds can take up to seven working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

We will contact you to advise the length of delay if you order items that are not in stock.
