Cast On! Knitting Group

Formed by Ruth Chester, founder of The Little Knitting Company, the Cast On! Knitting Group is an informal and friendly knitting (and crochet) group meeting every last Wednesday of the month. All are welcome. Bring along a current project, start a new one or ask us to show you how!

Venue: The Horse and Jockey, 25 Faringdon Road, Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire, SN7 8NN. On the A417 between Wantage and Faringdon which is off the A420 between Oxford and Swindon.

We enjoyed our first lunchtime meeting on Tuesday 16th September, which ran from 2 - 4pm, with special guest, Kate Bee, a reporter from BBC Oxford. Knitting and spinning, beginners and returners. Much laughter and appreciation of crafting with wool and yarn. The resulting three minute feature was played several times throughout the next day.
